arculus mission is the reinvention of manufacturing through the transformation of one-dimensional production lines into scalable, flexible grids of production modules and the replacement of conveyor belts with autonomous mobile robots.
Our product is the manufacturing system fabman, capable of planning, optimizing, and controlling manufacturing at an unprecedented scale, flexibility, and efficiency. It is designed to work in symbiosis with arculee, an autonomous mobile robot capable of moving any object - dynamically and safely, even in the most complex environments. fabman and the arculees are already in use in automotive OEMs and manufacturing companies across Europe.

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, logistics, information technology or related field with a strong academic record
First work experience in industrial / manufacturing environments, tech, consulting (with operations-focused engagements) or factory planning through internships or working student roles
Basic understanding of production systems and intra-logistics processes
Natural desire to shape the growth strategy of a deep-tech scale-up
Strong presentation skills to drive consensus across internal stakeholders
Dr. Fabian Rusitschka (born in 1984) grew up near Stuttgart, close to the sports carmanufacturer Mercedes-AMG GmbH. In fact, he was born with a huge fascination forautomobile manufacturing. He started his career as a mechanical engineer at the University of Stuttgart and gained his first practical experience in the automotive industry as a working student at the supplier Bosch. His next career steps followed at Porsche AG and AUDI AG. At Audi, Rusitschka worked in the technology and innovation management of the Audi production, most recently in the project Assembly of the Future. Rusitschka earned his PhD in the field of technology development in production. In 2016, he took the leap into self-employment with the founding of the arculus GmbH - Modular Production. Rusitschka is one of the two managing directors, founder and head of the company, which has its origins in an old textile factory in Ingolstadt, in the direct vicinity of Audi. Other locations of arculus are in Munich, Stuttgart and Dresden. Rusitschka's vision is basically nothing less than to transform Henry Ford's revolutionary idea of assembly line work, into modular production and evolve into the future.
